Position: Project Manager—Security Solutions
Primary Role:
The Project Manager will be responsible for high-profile projects as the primary customer interface for Knight Security maintaining and updating statuses, recording project complications, and maintaining project deadlines and ensuring that the customers’ expectations are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate expectations of customer, installation team and any others involved in the project’s scope, as well as expected timeline
- Establish, communicate and maintain project schedule and daily work activities
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities
- Manage multiple project initiatives and maintain on-time and accurate scheduling
- Maintain a working knowledge of current state of the art equipment
- Ensure appropriate equipment is ordered, delivered and installed
- Accurately track labor and other budgeted items involved with project management
- Maintain contact list for everyone involved in project and keep everyone up to date with schedules/deadlines. Maintain status reports
- Ensure customer is trained and all aspects of project have been delivered to exceed expectations
- Complete punch lists and receive final customer acceptance
- Follow through with post install items and change orders
Qualifications:
You must be a self-starter motivated by a job well done and willing to take the lead and ensure all aspects of given projects are fulfilled within scope and budget in a timely manner. We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience managing projects within the security industry with over 7 years of technical work with security related systems. Must have very strong communication skills: oral, written, presentation, and facilitation. The candidate must also be a person of good personal character, possess strong organizational skills, be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, have advanced proficiency with various administrative software, work well with other staff members and display the desire to learn and lead.
Compensation:
Salary – DOE – Negotiable
Knight Security offers a benefit package including health care, vacation, cell phone and laptop as well as company vehicle. Some out of town travel required.
