NBFAA - National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association NBFAA, a non-profit 501(c) 6 trade association, is the nation's oldest and largest organization dedicated to representing, promoting, and supporting the electronic life safety, security and systems industry. Member companies specialize in a wide spectrum of services to commercial and residential consumers.
   
   
NFPA - National Fire Protection Association

Established in 1896, NFPA serves as the world's leading advocate of fire prevention and is an authoritative source on public safety. In fact, NFPA's 300 codes and standards influence every building, process, service, design, and installation in the United States, as well as many of those used in other countries. NFPA's focus on true consensus has helped the association's code-development process  earn accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

   
   
TBFAA - Texas Burglar and Fire Alarm Association The Texas Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (TBFAA) is a non-profit organization comprised of a large number of professional security and fire alarm companies that operate in the great State of Texas. The Board, Committee leaders, and general members donate their time in an effort to advance and secure industry standards.
   
   
TFAA - Texas Fire Alarm Association TFAA - Texas Fire Alarm Association - Develop and provide educational training and technical data and liaison to the Fire Service, Political Subdivisions, Boards, Commissions, Agencies or Individuals regarding the interpretation and application of codes standards and ordinances pertaining to fire detection and alarm systems and safety of life and property.
   
   
NTAA - North Texas Alarm Association

The North Texas Alarm Association ("NTAA") is a non-profit association that began in 1980 as the Dallas County Burglar and Fire Alarm Association. The association was originally founded by a group of concerned alarm company owners that took a proactive stance to the false alarm issue. Today, through the direction of its leaders and members, the NTAA has evolved into a professional industry association promoting, educating, and safeguarding the interests of the security and fire alarm industry and its customers.

   
   
Houston Gulf Coast Alarm Association The Houston Gulf Coast Alarm Association (HGCAA) is comprised of Houston area security and fire alarm companies and associated vendors. We are a non-profit organization of security professionals who have joined together to enrich the  alarm industry in providing membership training, industry information, and representation in the Texas Legislature, Texas Commission on Private Security, State Fire Marshal's Office, City of Houston, and other surrounding municipalities.

ASIS International (ASIS) ASIS International (ASIS) is the largest organization for security professionals, with more than 35,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, governmental entities, and the public.
